Rules of use

FSAirSync is a network for people who want to fly together. These rules apply to the live map, chat, voice and the simulator. You can find the complete, currently applicable rules in your personal area on the website under Rules of use. If the rules change, you may be asked to agree to them again. Without your consent, a multiplayer connection is not possible.

How we treat each other

  • Treat others in a friendly and respectful way.
  • Beginners are welcome. Help briefly, and without showing anyone up.
  • Do not harass anyone, and accept it when somebody does not want contact.
  • Hate speech, threats and insults are not allowed.
  • Do not share other people's private data.

Chat and voice

  • No sexual content, advertising or spam.
  • Keep frequencies clear for departures, landings and emergencies.
  • Only transmit with the push-to-talk key, and make sure your microphone works.
  • On airfield and country frequencies, use the local language or English.

In the simulator

  • Do not taxi through other aircraft.
  • Use the taxiways and keep the runway clear.
  • Do not push into an approach that is already under way.
  • No deliberate ramming, intercepting or following of other aircraft.
  • Avoid aerobatics and getting in the way unnecessarily at busy airfields.
  • Do not use a misleading or offensive callsign.

When something goes wrong

Report rule violations to the moderators rather than arguing on the frequency. Depending on how serious it is, the result can be a warning, a mute, a temporary ban or a permanent exclusion.
