Live map and visibility

The live map shows you active FSAirSync flights and where they are. It helps you spot traffic around you and find flights to join.

Controlling visibility

  • Not visible: your position is not shown on the network.
  • Visible: other FSAirSync users can see you on the map.
  • Paused or ended: your active position is removed.

Only make yourself visible once your callsign is right and your flight in the simulator is ready.

Other aircraft

How an aircraft is drawn can differ depending on its type and on the model data available. What counts for orientation is the position, the callsign and the direction of travel.

Consideration on the network

Fly in a way that lets others follow what you intend to do. Avoid deliberate position jumps, taxiing straight through other aircraft, and getting in the way unnecessarily at busy airfields.
