First flight

Before departure

1. Start Microsoft Flight Simulator.
2. Start the FSAirSync client and sign in.
3. Choose a suitable callsign.
4. Check your microphone and speakers.

Becoming visible

Your position is only reported once you start the flight, which also makes you visible. That way you can set the simulator up without already showing up on the network.

During the flight

• Watch the live map and keep an eye out for other aircraft.
• Stick to the rules of use.
• Use the push-to-talk key for voice.
• End the flight if you are away for a longer while, and pick it up again later.

Ending the flight

End the flight in the client when you land or leave the simulator. After that your position is no longer shown as active.
